OSWEGO -- No one was hurt after flames broke out at a home in the City of Oswego.
The fire started Monday night around 8:58 p.m. at 31 Mercer Street, according to a press release from Jeff McCrobie, Fire Chief of the Oswego Fire Department.
It took crews about 45 minutes to extinguish the flames, according to McCrobie. No one was home at the time and no firefighters were hurt.
The house was badly damaged. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
