GENEVA (AP) -- State police say a 22-year-old man is suspected of burglarizing nearly 20 homes in a three-county area of the Finger Lakes region.
Troopers say they and Ontario County sheriff's deputies have arrested Kyle Schroeder of Geneva and charged him with a felony count of second-degree burglary.
Police say they believe Schroeder is responsible for pulling off about 20 daytime burglaries at residences in Ontario, Yates and Seneca counties.
He's being held in the Ontario County Jail pending an appearance in Phelps Town Court. It wasn't known if he had a lawyer.
Police say their investigation is continuing.
