NORWICH -- A Chenango County woman is accused of trying to smuggle cocaine to her boyfriend in prison.

Chenango County Sheriff's deputies say 20-year-old Cheyenne Greenier, of Afton, was going to pass the drugs to 27-year-old Anthony Salino at the Chenango County Correctional Facility. Investigators searched her vehicle and say they found a small quantity of cocaine inside.

She is charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, attempted promoting prison contraband and conspiracy.

Salino is charged with attempted promoting prison contraband and conspiracy.

They are both due in court at a later date.
