MARCY, ONEIDA CO. -- Three people are charged in connection with a burglary at a Marcy home that ended in the theft of tens of thousands of dollars.

State police arrested 20-year-old Philip Diperna, of 1434 Genesee Street in Utica, 20-year-old Theodore Klotz, of 1406 Ney Avenue in Utica and 20-year-old Kelly Crider, of 27 Poplar Avenue in Whitesboro.

The arrests stem from a six week investigation into a home break-in in the Town of Marcy in November.

Diperna, Klotz and Crider are accused of entering the home and stealing approximately $70,000 in cash. Diperna and Klotz are charged with burglary.

Diperna is also accused of violating parole. He and Klotz were arraigned in Marcy Town Court and sent to the Oneida County Jail on $30,000 cash bail.

Crider is charged with criminal possession of stolen property. She was issued an appearance ticket.
