DEERFIELD, ONEIDA CO. -- A Utica man is facing drunk driving charges and a Rome woman is charged after deputies say they found her hiding in a garage.
Oneida County Sheriff's deputies say 23-year-old Cory Badger, of Champlain Avenue, was driving a Ford pick-up truck south on Route 12 in the Town of Deerfield when he lost control, slamming into a guide rail in the center median. Sergeant Matthew Bauer started looking for Aiken through a swamp and up an overpass embankment to Miller Road. Deputies say they were able to find Aiken hiding in a garage through tracks in the snow.
Jason Badger and Aiken were treated at the scene for head injuries and transported to St Luke's Hospital.
Cory Badger is charged with DWI and BAC.08%>, open container and speed not reasonable. He will answer the charges in the Town of Deerfield at a later date.
