Art Auction will be at Maple Downs this year
Doppler and 'assistant' Wayne Mahar have created artwork for this year's Pawcasso auction
The 6th annual Pawcasso art auction is coming up in March, and the benefit has grown so much, it's outgrown its 'home' of the past three years.
Lisa Chelenza, with Spay and Neuter Syracuse, says the event will be staged on Saturday night this year (after an SU home basketball game), with food, at Maple Downs, the retirement community on Genesee Street in Fayetteville. Art created by animals (including from Syracuse's zoo, and by our Doppler the Weather Cat), as well as by artists will be on display and for auction, March 3rd 6:30-8:30pm.
Proceeds benefit SANS, which provides spay and neuter services for shelter and rescue animals, feral cats and dogs.
