SENECA FALLS -- Police in Seneca Falls say a man is facing charges after sending sexual text messages and sexual images of himself to a 13-year-old girl.
Todd Reed, 49, of Seneca Falls is under arrest. He is charged with attempted rape, attempted criminal sexual act, and endangering the welfare of a child.
Investigators say they started looking into Reed earlier this week when the teen complained about the messages and turned her phone over to police. Officers say the texts and photos kept coming.
Reed was arrested when police set up a meeting during which he thought he would get sex from the child.
Reed was arraigned in Seneca Falls Town Court and sent to the Seneca County Correctional Facility on $100,000 bail.
