CLAY -- Onondaga County Sheriff's deputies say an armed man got into an apartment while a 12-year-old was home alone.
Investigators say it happened just before 6:30 Wednesday night at an apartment complex on Grampian road in Clay, just off Morgan Road. Police say a man with a handgun got into an apartment and stole money and property. The 12-year-old was not hurt.
Detectives were called to the scene after the boy's parents got home a little while later. They say the suspect is described as a while man wearing dark clothing and a ski mask.
