CORTLANDVILLE -- Cortland County Sheriff's deputies arrested a man after he flipped off a woman.

47-year-old Gary Talbot, of 41 North Main Street, is charged with criminal contempt and unlawful possession of a marijuana.

Deputies were called to a domestic dispute at 281 Bowl in the Town of Cortlandville just before 6 p.m. on March 10. Deputies say Talbot made an obscene gesture towards the victim by "flipping her off." He was arrested for violating an order of protection. Police say they later found a glass pipe and small amount of marijuana on him.

He was arraigned in Cortlandville Town Court and sent to the Cortland County Jail on $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 bond. He is due back in court on Wednesday.
