In a narrow win Thursday afternoon, Syracuse beat UNC-Asheville in front of a crowd that wanted to see basketball history made between a 16-seed and a 1-seed team. No sixteen seed has ever beaten a one seed in the NCAA Tournament but Asheville almost pulled it off.
