Investigators looking into missing persons cases
DEWITT -- Human remains have been found near Shoppingtown Mall in DeWitt, that's according to police.
Police say they got a call Saturday afternoon from a mother who said her 13-year-old son had been playing in the woods and made the discovery.
Police believe the remains had been there for awhile. Police say they are now working with the Medical Examiner's officer to identify the remains.
Investigators are also looking at missing persons cases for clues.
