UTICA -- A Utica woman is charged with child endangerment after two children fell off the trunk of her car and were hurt.

It happened around 7:50 p.m. Sunday along the 900 block of Elizabeth Street.

Police say the two kids were riding on the trunk of the car when 22-year-old Leanne Dellanno, of Herkimer Road, drove down the street, turned around and drove back. When she turned the corner, police say the kids fell off the trunk and were hurt. They were treated at the hospital for minor injuries.

Dellanno is charged with endangering the welfare of a child, a misdemeanor.
