Oswego man with lengthy criminal past facing more charges

SCHROEPPEL, OSWEGO CO. -- An Oswego man with a lengthy criminal past is facing more charges.

45-year-old Richard Erickson, of West 7th Street Bldg. 273, is charged with aggravated unlicensed operation. He was already wanted for failure to answer a summons in Fulton, Sterling, Auburn, Westmoreland and Oswego dating back to 2005.

In 2006, Erickson was charged with DWI. He is also wanted for failure to pay fines in Volney and Granby, failure to answer a summons in Oswego, failure to pay child support and having insufficient tail lamps during a traffic stop on SR 481 in Schroeppel.

Erickson was arraigned in Schroeppel Town Court and released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to be back in court on April 4.
