GENOA, CAYUGA COUNTY -- A Cayuga County man is dead following a one car crash last weekend.
It happened Sunday around 1:09 a.m. on NYS Route 90 in the Town of Genoa.
Derek Kulis, 24, of Genoa, was driving a Dodge pick-up truck east on Route 90 near Creek Road when the truck went off the road and hit a tree, according to the Cayuga County Sheriff's Department.
Kulis suffered severe injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.
The investigation continues into why the vehicle went off the road.
