Deputies looking for info: 425-2111
A 16th birthday party turned into a fight at United Inn, on Buckley Road in the town of Salina, early Saturday morning.
Deputies were called at 12:04am on reports of shots fired.
Relatives apparently noticed uninvited guests coming in and the fight started as they were asked to leave. Police say they may have been rival gang members.
One guest was hit with a chair, and when a shot was fired into the ceiling, everyone rushed out. One person went to the hospital with minor injuries, apparently from being trampled, but he is not cooperating with the police.
Four other shots were fired in the parking lot. Deputies have recovered a shotgun and rounds.
