Syracuse police investigate stabbing at Erie Boulevard gas station

SYRACUSE -- Syracuse police are investigating a stabbing.

It happened around 12:15 am Saturday at the Sunoco Station on Erie Boulevard East. Police say Keith Vumbaco was stabbed in the neck by an unknown man.

The suspect was last seen running north on Teall Avenue. The victim was transported to Upstate University Hospital and he is currently in stable condition.

Anyone with information should call Syracuse police at 442-5222.
