Deputies think fatigue is to blame
A 67 year old man is dead, a couple from Taunton injured in a fatal crash in Seneca County
A head-on crash in Lodi late Friday night has killed one driver, and injured passengers in the other car.
Seneca County Sheriff's deputies say it happened on Route 414, in front of the Lodi Firehouse. 67 year old Blaise Fallon, from Hector, crossed the center line and hit the second vehicle head on. He died at Geneva Hospital, with chest trauma.
The passengers in the second car, Robert and Cynthia Colavita, both 51, from Ormsby Drive in Taunton, are being treated at Cayuga Medical Center.
Deputies say the victim, Fallon, had just come back from an out-of-the-country trip, and may have fallen asleep at the wheel from fatigue.
