NEW HAVEN -- An Oswego County teenager is accused of starting a fire at a New Haven saw mill earlier this month.
Sheriff's deputies arrested the 14-year-old boy on Friday.
Deputies say he's responsible for starting the fire on Old County Route 1 on June 9th.
Investigators say he allegedly lit a piece of paper on fire and threw it on the floor of the mill leaving it to burn.
The teen is charged as a juvenile delinquent.
Deputies say that if the crime was committed by an adult, he'd be charged with arson, which is a felony.
The teen was issued an appearance ticket and is scheduled to contact the Oswego County Probation Department for further processing.
