ROCHESTER -- A New Jersey man is under arrest after investigators say he threatened to kill two high-ranking employees of the Wegmans grocery store chain.

According to the FBI, 31-year-old Hans Ni of Trenton, New Jersey has been indicted on two counts of transmitting interstate threats. Assistant U.S. Attorney Richard Resnick says Ni, a former Wegmans employee, sent threats to kill the CEO and president of the grocery chain, who are Wegmans family members. Resnick says the threats were emailed via a fake account from a library in New Jersey. The email was reportedly sent from an account in the name of a former supervisor at Wegmans who was involved in the firing of Ni in 2005.

An arraignment date for Ni has not yet been scheduled. Each charge carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
