SYRACUSE (AP) -- Authorities say they're looking for the man who used a sword to stab another man during a fight at a Syracuse bar.

Syracuse police say 49-year-old Johnny Floyd of Syracuse was stabbed once in the torso after a fight broke out around 9 p.m. Thursday at the B&B Lounge.

B&B Lounge is located on Syracuse south side at the intersection of South Avenue and Tallman Street.

Officials say Floyd was taken to Upstate University Hospital for treatment of serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the suspect is a man in his 50's who's an acquaintance of Floyd.

Police haven't said what type of sword was used in the attack.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Syracuse Police at 315-442-5222. All calls are kept confidential.
