LIVERPOOL -- The Liverpool Central School District is implementing new standards-based report cards for the upcoming school year in all elementary schools.

The new report cards will give parents and guardians information about specific skills their child has mastered, needs improvement with, or is working on, rather than issuing grades for specific subjects.

Report cards will come out three times a year in November, March, and June, switching from a quarterly release to a trimester release.

The new cards are expected to help students meet grade-level standards and provide more specific information to caregivers.
