PALERMO -- Oswego County Sheriff's deputies say a motorcycle accident killed one man and injured another.

Around 3 o'clock Friday afternoon deputies and the Palermo Fire Department responded to a crash at the intersection of State Route 3 and State Route 264 in Palermo.

Investigators say the driver of a Toyota pickup truck was trying to turn onto state route three when he struck a Honda motorcycle.

58-year-old Richard Reed from Palermo was on bike, and was pronounced dead at the scene.

83-year-old Floyd Kelly from Fulton was in the truck and suffered minor injuries.

Sheriff's deputies say tickets are pending in the case.
