Speed a factor, Jeep flipped at least 3 times

A Chittenango woman is dead, her male passenger seriously hurt after their Jeep rolled down a Madison County ravine on Saturday night

A Jeep went 150 feet of a Madison County road after missing a curve on Saturday night, killing its driver and seriously injuring a passenger.

Madison County Sheriff's Deputies say they were called to Fenner, to the Peterboro Road, near Nelson Road, about 8pm Saturday evening.  A passerby found the vehicle after an area resident called 911 to report the crash, but no vehicle was located.

49 year old Kelly Schwab, from Chittenango, apparently missed a curve and went down an embankment, flipping at least three times before landing in a ravine.  She was pronounced dead at the scene.   Her male passenger--still unidentified--is in serious condition at Upstate University Hospital.

Madison County Deputies are continuing the investigation, and say speed was a contributing factor.
