SYRACUSE -- A warning for SU fans planning on going to the Carrier Dome for the season opener against Northwestern.

Syracuse Police want people to arrive early for the noon kickoff on Saturday.

Construction on the SU hill is limiting some of the available parking spaces.

Officers say people who park illegally around the campus will be ticketed and towed. That can cost a driver more than $150.

If you don't have a previously paid parking pass officials recommend parking at the Skytop lot and then take a free shuttle to the Dome.

Parking at Skytop costs $10.

If you can't get to the game you can watch the Orange and the Wildcats battle on ESPN2.
