SYRACUSE -- It took two years and $25 million but students at Syracuse's Institute of Technology finally have a school to call their own.

The school’s nearly 500 students got a chance to see their new school Tuesday morning.

Highlights of the renovation include wireless equipped classrooms, smart boards, and specialized rooms where students can get hands on experience in trades such as culinary arts and automotive technology.

All of this is in a newly renovated state of the art energy efficient building.

In addition to the Institute of Technology, renovations at Dr. Weeks Elementary and Fowler High School are expected to be finished this year.
