HASTINGS -- The Town of Hastings plans to spray for mosquitoes on Thursday evening, weather permitting, says the Town of Hastings Supervisor James Weatherup.
The spraying was canceled Tuesday night do to inclement weather.
The township is spraying to fight the mosquito population, in hopes of curbing the mosquito-borne illness, West Nile virus.
The decision to spray is in response to mosquito pools that tested positive for the West Nile virus in Central Square and
