Man dies from stabbing injuries at American Legion in Taberg

TABERG -- A Taberg man died from injuries sustained from being stabbed in Taberg on Saturday night.

Oneida County Sheriff Robert Maciol says Joseph Andrewski, 26, of Taberg, died in Upstate Medical Center in Syracuse as a result of an injury he sustained after he was stabbed.

The incident happened at the American Legion on Main Street in Taberg on Saturday night.

Sheriff Maciol says a second person also recieved stab wounds.

Officials say an autopsy is scheduled for Monday at the Onondaga Medical Examiner’s Office in Syracuse.

The Oneida County Sheriff's Offices is asking anyone who was at the Taberg Legion Saturday night or has more information to call 765-2737.
