Household pets as well as breed classes are included
225 cats are on display both Saturday and Sunday at the Syracuse area cat show in Lakeland.

A two day cat show just west of the State Fairgrounds has cat fanciers from the region and interested spectators checking out the everyday and the unusual.
The shows, on Saturday and Sunday, are sponsored by different area clubs. Saturday's competition is the 44th annual Salt City Cat Club show. On Sunday, Fantastic Felines is the sponsoring organization. Both shows have 12 rings of competition and include kittens and cats of specific breeds, as well as household pets. Each afternoon, a special rosette is awarded to the cat that gets the most popular votes. 225 cats are showing each day at the CNY Family Sports Center on Jones Road.
