SYRACUSE -- An elderly woman was not hurt when she slammed her car into a porch in Syracuse Monday morning.

It happened around 10:40 a.m. along the 100 block of South Lowell Avenue on Tipperary Hill.

We're told the woman jumped the curb, driving up on the sidewalk and smashing into the porch. The crash caused structural damage to the porch and the car landed on its side.

Investigators are still trying to figure out what caused the woman to lose control.
