SYRACUSE -- The Post-Standard announced today it is laying off 115 employees, which will reduce its staff by 30-percent.
According to senior managers at the Post-Standard and Syracuse.com, 89 full-time employees and 26 part-time employees were offered generous severance and help finding new jobs.
The employees offered severance will also be eligible to apply for about 60 positions that are currently open. The open positions will be posted within a week on Syracuse.com.
