SYRACUSE -- A man walking in Syracuse's Armory Square was assaulted and had his cell phone stolen Thursday evening. It happened at 5:25pm in the 200 block of Walton Street.

Police say the victim is a thirty year old man who was approached by two teenage males riding bicycles. This is the account police gave: One male struck the victim with his bicycle causing him to fall down and drop his cell phone. The second male then picked up victim's phone and they both rode away southwest crossing West Street towards Wyoming Street.

The man was not injured and police are now looking for two black males, 16-18 years old, 6' 170lbs. Both young men were wearing dark hooded sweatshirts and gray pants. One suspect rode a red bike and the other a lime green bike. Anyone with information on this Robbery is asked to contact the Syracuse Police at 315-442-5222.
