MADISON COUNTY -- About 620 people who lost power due to an accident at the corner of Route 13 and Carey Road that brought down a utility pole had their power restored at about 12:45 AM on Tuesday morning, according to Virginia Limmiatis, US Media Representative for National Grid.

The accident happened at around 6 PM on Monday and local crews responded, according to Limmiatis.

The Madison County Sheriff's Office says that the part of Route 13 around the accident site has been re-opened.
