SYARCUSE -- Syracuse Police are investigating a homicide that happened early Sunday morning at South McBride Street and Wieser Ct.
Police have identified the victim as 24 year-old Eric Walker.
Walker was taken by private vehicle to Upstate Hospital with a gun shot wound.
He died shortly after arrival.
Police also said that they received several 911 calls about gun shots at about the same time Walker was being dropped off at the hospital.
Witnesses told police that a late model, gray SUV was shooting at the victim.
