ITHACA -- Ithaca police do not suspect foul play in the death of a baby boy.

The 6-month-old infant was not breathing when emergency crews arrived on the scene. The baby was taken to Cayuga Medical Center where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

An investigation into the baby's death is underway, but investigators say it does not look suspicious.

An autopsy was performed by the Broome County Medical Examiner, but investigators have not released information on the cause of death.

The baby's name is being withheld pending notification of all family members.
