TULLY --    The winter vacation is traditionally one of the busiest times for local ski resorts. This year is no different. Kids and parents have been hitting the slopes since the start of vacation. Song Mountain in Tully has been taking full advantage of the extended break. They say they have seen more and more people coming to the slopes. Also, season ticket sales are up for the year.

Song Mountain’s owner says more people are looking to stay local to save a buck or two. He says people might not be taking as many trips out west or ever up further into New England because of tight money.  He also says with the cool temps early on in the season and the few big storms we’ve already had, the mountain has a good base and is still able to make snow.

Happening Friday from 4:30pm until midnight, you can take part in Friday Night Freak Out. Lift tickets are just five dollars for the rest of the night.
