SYRACUSE -- More than 300 dancers gathered at Carousel Center mall on Tuesday to entertain shoppers with a surprise song and dance routine just days before Christmas.

Dancing to the tune of Mariah Carey's "All I Want for Christmas", the revelers seemingly apppeared out of nowhere to cut a rug in the food court before blending back into the crowd of curious onlookers.

Called a "Flash Mob", these groups specialize in surprise dance exhibitions like this, usually in crowded venues where dancers can move about unnoticed before the music starts, and then blend back into the masses after.
