SYRACUSE -- On Thursday, Syracuse Mayor Stephanie Miner will give her first state of the city address. The mayor says she'll be talking about major initiatives they will be implementing in education and economic development. There are severe fiscal shortfalls, Miner says, not just this year but every year going forward.
"We're going to be talking about a plan to make economic development operate more efficiently and so that city hall will help people make progress, not be an obstacle to progress," Miner says.
The state of the city address will be Thursday night at 6:30PM at SUNY ESF'S Marshall Hall.
