don Miguel Ruiz of "The Four Agreements" coming to Syracuse
SYRACUSE -- Matt Mulcahy's Matt's Memo blog about upcoming appearance on Friday April 16th:
Jen Falso is a woman from Fayetteville known for her artistic talents, her sense of humor and her smile. Those qualities which are apparent to anyone who meets her did not leave her satisfied that she was as happy as she could be. In seeking answers and fulfillment she came across a new view of maximizing personal potential with a sense of spirituality. She is so happy about the new results in her life she's taking a leap of faith and is putting together an evening at the Palace Theatre featuring New York Times best selling author don Miguel Ruiz and the music of Grammy Award winner Joanne Shenandoah.
One description of the event is this: "A down-to-earth evening of soul connection, meditation and music that will awaken your heart."
Ruiz is the author of "The Four Agreements". His book spent eight years on the NYT best seller list. It's one of those quick read self-help style books that challenges the reader to simplify life and find freedom from perceptions that aren't true and "the self-limiting beliefs that can rob us of joy and create needless suffering." The Four Agreements that come from his book are:
Be Impeccable With Your Word. Don't Take Anything Personally. Don't Make Assumptions. Always Do Your Best.
As I talked with Jen Falso about these concepts I could hear their resonance in her words. She is enjoying the liberation that comes with buying into the concepts.
Ruiz is one of several positive forces coming to the Palace. He will be joined by a group called the Triune partners which feature Sheila Applegate and Megan O'Nan. Sheila describes herself as an internationally renowned spiritual seer, healer and teacher. Jen tells me Megan is the one that brings people back to earth with practical advice to unlock your potential in everyday life.
The event is at the Palace Theater in the Eastwood section of Syracuse Friday April 16th 7:00 to 10:00 pm. Jen is so thrilled about this event she’s even willing to give away a couple pairs of tickets to blog readers. E-mail me if you’re interested.
