Hopes to cut deficit to $half million

The United Way of Central New York expects to finish out April about a half million dolars short of its latest fundraising goal, and executive director says the 39 member agencies are 'going to have to cut something.'   The United Way has already met with agency executive directors for an update, and the board is expected to make decisions soon on how the lesser amount of money will be divided up.  Lazarski says 'it won't be perfect,' but they'll try to soften the cut so no one has to close programs. www.unitedway-cny.org
