Saturday’s storm moved through Central New York quickly, but it was powerful to do some damage.

Limbs and branches are now scattered across the front yard of the Fredenburg home, on Berry Road in Fabius.  High winds brought down the large tree, which hit the corner of the house, causing some damage to the roof.

"It sounded like a big boom and crack at the same time. We were really scared, we didn't know what happened, we were sitting in the kitchen and then we realized part of the tree fell,” said Jamie Fredenburg.

The tree also brought the power lines down with it.  National Grid Crews were on the scene Saturday afternoon working to restore electricity.
