Tuesday morning at 10AM, the "Get Caught Wearing a Helmet" campaign for 2010 kicks off at Ryder Park in East Syracuse. Local law enforcement officials will be there to help demonstrate proper helmet use.

Friendly's restaurants is also going to be giving out free ice cream for anyone taking part in the event.

It's all part of an effort to reward Central New York youth for proper bicycle helmet use -- whether they're on a bike, skateboarding, riding scooters, or in-line skating.
