Youth and open race planned

They're billing it the 'first annual,' but a new race is set for next weekend, in Manlius.
The Manlius Mile will be run on Saturday morning, August 28th at Mill Run Park, with live music part of the entertainment.
It's in memory of  Bryan Place , the financial planner who died suddenly earlier this year.  Place was a regular on our Financial 411 call-in segments. His brother in law, Tom Long, says this is a memorial put together by the family, a remembrance of his athleticism--Place was a runner--and also to benefit Catholic Charities of CNY, where he served as a board member.
