NEW YORK CITY -- Hard to beat this for a major endorsement of a show: "The singer was energetic and hit his notes, and the thousands of tween and young teen girls were totally floored."
That's one line from a review by The New York Post.
With 17,000+ fans ready to pack the grandstand at the State Fairgrounds to see Justin Bieber tonight, the critics have had their say about the show he just completed at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The teen pop sensation was on stage there Tuesday night for a concert the New York Daily News called, "a clean slate for teen fans to project their fantasies upon."
There was little mention in the review of the recent health issues that forced Bieber to cancel his Sunday show and reschedule for tonight at the Fairgrounds. You can read the entire review from the Daily News here.
The Madison Square Garden show appears to been more of a production than Bieber is planning to put on in Central New York. He was filming a 3-D movie and was joined onstage by several big name guest stars including Miley Cyrus, Ludacris and Sean Kingston.
Tonight's show is scheduled to get underway at 7:00 p.m at the State Fair Grandstand. The concert is sold out.
The Fair also features hot country act Lady Antebellum tonight at Chevrolet Court. That concert is scheduled to begin at 8:00 p.m.
