MANLIUS -- A light fixture that caught fire is to blame for an overnight fire at the M&T Bank on Route 92 in Manlius.

The fire, which started around 1:00 a.m. Friday, caused smoke and water damage to the building.

Onondaga County 911 dispatchers tell CNY Central it took firefighters less than half an hour to get the flames under control.

The bank is closed Friday.
