CINCINNATI -- The Syracuse Orange football team has earned win number six against Cincinnati (3-5, 1-2) on the road this afternoon.

After an impressive road victory last weekend over West Virginia, the Orange (6-2, 3-1) defense stepped up again this week, forcing three huge turnovers that all led to points.

Cincy started quarterback Chazz Anderson, who replaced the injured Zach Collaros. 

A win against the two-time defending Big East champions has put Syracuse one win away from that elusive bowl bid fans have been salivating over for quite some time, its last bowl bid was in 2004. It's SU's best start since 2001.
