(AP) -- Apple iTunes may have something very special today for Beatles fans.

Apple replaced its regular home page yesterday with a note promising an "exciting" iTunes announcement -- in fact, they say it's a day "you'll never forget."

Apple offers no further details, but The Wall Street Journal reports Apple has finally snagged the rights to sell Beatles albums on iTunes.

Folks from the Beatles' label -- EMI -- and Apple Corps, which manages the band's affairs, did not respond to messages from The Associated Press.

Apple's announcement is set for 10 a.m., Eastern time.
