Time Warner: digital phone service restored

Update:
A Time Warner spokesperson now says internet and digital home service issues are resolved. The company is continuing to monitor the situation to make sure everything is working reliably. They will also continue to investigate what caused the problem.

Time Warner Cable is working to fix a problem with digital phone service.
A company spokesperson says customers may hear a fast busy signal when they pick up the phone. Other times, the service will be fine. The problem is happening in the Syracuse, Rochester, and Albany areas.
Stephanie Salanger, with Time Warner Cable, says, "We experienced intermittent phone outages that started late this morning...our network engineers are on it and working diligently to get a resolution soon."
