Missing Clay teen found safe in Syracuse

TOWN OF CLAY -- Sheriff's deputies tell CNY Central that a Clay teen reported missing Wednesday morning has been located. 

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office says that Nicole Addy was found by the Syracuse Police Department.

Police say Addy told authorities that she had been staying with a friend in Syracuse. She has been returned to her home.

The Onondaga County Sheriff's Office needs the public's help in locating a missing teenaged girl from Clay.

16-year-old Nicole K. Addy was reported missing on January 12th. She was last seen leaving her home on Burnham Court in Casual Estates on January 11th around 7:30 am.

Addy is 5'4" tall, weighs 120 pounds, and has black hair and hazel eyes. She was last known to be wearing a black colored winter jacket, blue jeans and black boots.

Detectives believe she may be staying somewhere in Syracuse and asks anyone with information contact Detective Jon Seeber by calling 435-3081.
