Congresswoman Ann Marie Buerkle has only been on the job as the representative for the 25th Congressional District for about a month, but already, political experts say she should be looking ahead.

Buerkle's district made the top 10 list of most competitive House races for 2012. Politico.com says Buerkle's focus on social issues like abortion could put her at risk in the democrat-leaning Syracuse region. She could also end up as a target for redistricting since she's a first time representative.

Buerkle won a very close race against Democrat Dan Maffei. He hasn't said if he'll run again.
