Father and son recovering after snowmobile accident in Verona

VERONA -- Updated at 11:10pm:
A father and son from Durhamville are recovering tonight after a snowmobile accident in Verona.
State police say 21-year-old Steven and 43-year-old Timothy Wandell were snowmobiling on a trail Wednesday morning when Steven hit a low hanging tree. He kept going, then hit another tree and was thrown from his snowmobile. He was airlifted to Upstate University Hospital. As of Wednesday night he was listed in fair condition.
Steven's father Timothy was traveling behind Steven and didn't see the crash. He hit the same tree. He was also taken to Upstate University Hospital with chest injuries.

Oneida County 911 says State Police are investigating a snowmobile accident in Verona this morning.
We don't have very many details, except that it was on a trail near the Rome-New London Road.
Mercy Flight tells us they have transported one person by helicopter to Upstate University Hospital.
